Shared servers

Shared servers are a great way of saving money as the cost of server maintenance, monitoring, patches and troubleshooting is evenly distributed, reducing overall hosting prices.

Quick Fix Promise

All hosting clients have access to free Moodle support based on a 15-minute limit per request. In short, if we can fix it in 15 minutes or less, you get it for free! Fair Use Terms apply.

Dedicated servers

Dedicated servers are required if your hosting needs go beyond a shared server capacity or if you have enhanced compliance requirements due to the nature of your stored data.

  • Servers are monitored using Nagios and Munin to provide 24/7 alerts

  • Servers are built on VMWare ESX Clusters backed by SAN-based disk storage

  • Servers are backed up nightly, and encrypted backups kept for 30 days

  • Hosting agreements include one FREE branch upgrade per 12 month period

  • Unlimited optional plugins and site administrative access as standard

  • Hosting onboarding includes configuration to use your own domain

  • Proactive usage tracking, with email alerts if you reach your allowance limit

  • Hosting level upgrades are charged pro rata based on remainder of term

  • Multi-year mid-term upgrades are charged based on prices at term start
