Acceptable Use Policy
Introduction
This policy makes clear the circumstances under which e-Learn Design (ELD) reserves the right to terminate services. By entering into a contractual agreement with ELD, you consent to be held to the terms of this policy.
Acceptable Use Terms
1. Clients may not install or store any software that enables or assists any Internet user to send mass mail, change mail headers, allow anonymous messages to be sent to another user, or facilitate any other activity considered unacceptable by ELD.
2. Clients may not store, publish or transmit any content or links to any content that ELD reasonably believes:
- Is violent, incites violence, threatens violence or contains harassing content or hate speech;
- Is defamatory or violates a person’s privacy;
- Infringes on another person’s copyright, trade mark, service mark, or other property right; or
- Is otherwise malicious, illegal, or solicits conduct that is illegal.
3. ELD reserves the right to remove any material that it determines may be breaking any relevant laws or causing distress to users of the services it provides.
4. If ELD is made aware that a client has used an ELD service or that of a third party to undertake any of the activities listed above, the client’s account will be terminated.
5. ELD shall not be held liable for any loss or damage caused by the use or misuse, unavailability or removal of services.
6. On the termination of any account, all data will be deleted. ELD will use reasonable endeavours to notify a client in advance, but once an account is closed, all data associated with that account will cease to exist and will not be retrievable.
Policy changes
ELD reserves the right to change this policy at any time. While clients will be notified in writing of substantive changes, we encourage you to check this page frequently for any amendments. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the policy terms as detailed above.
